I hope you all have been enjoying the brisk fall!  There are many great events to kick us off into the Holiday season and they start this coming weekend....

Art Attack
Friday Nov 2nd, 5-10pm
Saturday Nov 3rd, 12-8pm  ***Please note I will be at the Walker Art Mart during Saturday so my assistant Louisa will be available at the NKB
Sunday Nov 4th, 12-5pm
"Art Attack is an annual open studio and gallery crawl at the Northrup King Building, in the heart of the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District. The weekend-long event features over 200 artists working in painting and drawing, sculpture, photography, custom furniture, fiber arts, metal, ceramics, glass, hand-crafted and custom jewelry, mixed media, mosaics, textiles, and more."  There will be food trucks all weekend long, so come find your favorite artists, stock up for the Holidays, and enjoy great food!

***Since I am super pregnant now (less than two weeks to go!) I will have an assistant all weekend long during Art Attack-- my talented and super awesome friend Louisa.  So if you would like to work specifically with me please come between 5-7pm Friday evening or on Sunday, Louisa will be working the rest of the weekend for me.

Walker Jewelry Artist Mart
Saturday Nov 3rd, 11am-5pm

Join me and 20 other fantastic jewelry designers from local, regional, to national talent this Saturday at the Walker Art Center in the Garden Terrace Room.  The Walker always puts on a great event and this one day show is certain not to disappoint.  Come for the jewels and stay for the Target free Saturdays.  A perfect Saturday to start your Holiday shopping or find that something special for yourself!!

Maternity Leave
As many of you know, I am pregnant with my first baby and due Nov 11th!!!  I will be taking maternity leave until the 1st of the year but I will still have stock available for purchase and be available via email-- just maybe more slowly ;)  I have local galleries around the Twin Cities, Duluth, and Grand Marais for convenient shopping, or you can always set up an appointment with my assistant, Louisa, during my leave.  Please don't hesitate to email and ask any questions or about availability!  I look forward to seeing you all!

DONATED JEWELS FOR DULUTH:
As many of you know, my hometown of Duluth, MN and surrounding areas was hit by a disastrous flood June 19th-20th that caused hundreds of millions of dollars of damage to public and private property. It has been amazing to see people come together, volunteer, and try to get this city back into shape and I want to help out the best way I know how... with jewels of course! I will donate a piece of jewelry and raffle off tickets for a chance to win and donate all the proceeds to the Twin Ports Long Term Flood Recovery. "The Twin Ports Region Long Term Flood Relief Fund supports services addressing unmet needs of individuals and families affected by the flood and who reside in the Greater Duluth area (Duluth, Hermantown, Proctor), Two Harbors area, Carlton County, Superior/Douglas County or the Floodwood and Aitken areas."
